Sojourn

What if you gave yourself the gift of time and space? How might you grow if you invested deep attention into your own development?

In our sojourn program, you remove yourself from your everyday surroundings so that you may find a deeper connection with your self, minus the mental distractions of the day to day.

You'll be led by John Silkey, our chief coach and resident fly fishing guide, on a 6-8 hour drift boat float, using the physical act of fly fishing to occupy your analytical mind combined with John's guided self-inquiry practices and coaching to dive deeper into those feelings and questions we rarely have time to explore.

We'll float on one of the Pac NW's iconic fly fishing waters. Depending on conditions and travel arrangements, this could be the Yakima, Deschutes, Clackamas, or Sandy River.

All transport to and from your lodging, plus river lunch, optional wine tasting (as a mindfulness practice) and fishing gear and instruction is included.

All you need to do is show up.

About

John has been coaching executives for 10 years, and fly fishing for 25. He is a graduate of Pacific Integral's "Generating Transformational Change" coaching program, and the Western Rivers Fly Fishing Guide School. He has learned, first hand, the transformative power of leading developmental work on rivers, and the trick of using physical activity like fishing to help clients get in touch with their more complete selves.
