Headwaters is led by John Silkey who has spent his career growing and connecting groups and organizations in creative and novel ways. John is a seasoned executive and transformation strategist with a track record of guiding individuals and teams through profound professional and personal transitions. With over two decades of experience in organizational leadership, strategy consulting, coaching, and organizational design, John works with executive teams to go beyond conventional leadership and help their organizations think differently about their business.

I believe that everything is connected and works in cycles and that our most basic needs as people, colleagues, leaders, community members - these never change. The challenges and transitions we encounter, seeking belonging in community, life transitions, adoption of a new role, decision points that seem to have no right answers; these are moments of real change and growth. For this reason I seek to work with people and groups that feel in the moment, "We're not here to do things the way they've always been done. It's time to look at things differently.."
